In HOW TO SOAR WITH A BROKEN WING, Marybeth Gregg shares her own life story in a way that is so wise, so grounded, and encouraging that I felt like I was in a deep, truth conversation with a dear friend over a cup of tea. Simple, well-expressed stories opened up my own memories, hopes, fears, so many hidden and forgotten treasures. The exercises are simple, powerful, and transformational–I added them to my morning routine as a way of starting busy days with a mindful, soul-centered approach. What I found most amazing about her story and the book are how she demonstrates that soaring does not require a jet pack, perfect wings, or even a clear, sunny day. Soaring is a decision we make, a path that we take. I received an advance copy of this book and these opinions are my own, unbiased thoughts.
